NUST Gives Interactive Lesson on Personal Rights.

A HUGE thank you to the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and their volunteers for making the United Nations INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY so special for us.

NUST and their volunteers made generous donations to the children at Family of Hope Services, and engaged them in an interactive lesson and discussion about their personal rights. In addition, NUST volunteers donated the ingredients and cooked a delicious soup for the children.  Each child received a child friendly booklet on personal rights, design and created by Ashande Photography.

We rely on these types of donations to help care for and feed the children at Family of Hope Services.

The Personal Rights booklet contained rights such as “I have the right to be in a non-abusive environment” and “I have the right to be angry at someone I love”.
