What a wonderful holiday event the kids enjoyed and all thanks to Rose Marie Bravo from the United States who sponsored everything, and to the volunteers at Family of Hope Services who planned and put on a fabulous Christmas program and party.  Also, a big thank you to Ongos Farm outside of Windhoek who donated a gemsbok to provide us with ample meat.

Mrs. Bravo fed over 350 children a large and delicious meal including two big celebration cakes, she sponsored the jumping castle and card-making games, and gave 350 gift packages with toys to the kids.  It was a joy-filled day and the kids were thrilled!!!  We are deeply grateful.

 

Ms. Bravo also sponsored the party for our Care Team volunteers and staff.  It was a wonderful success and allowed us to show our gratitude to those from our community who give their time and love to look after the kids.  The volunteers all received a gift of soap and body lotion from Clinique, as well as beautiful clothes that were sent from New York by another wonderful sponsor, Ms. Siobhan Zollner.
